Flash Game Websites From My Childhood

Poptropica

This goes at the top of the list due to the amount of hours I put into this game as a child. I was a poptropica veteran, starting to play around 2009 and playing up until the death of Adobe Flash. I had most of the medalions, and by the end of my time playing I had aquired all the costumes I ever wanted.

Barbie.com

Barbie.com was one of the first websites I visited as a kid with unsupervised internet access. There were many point and click games as well as dress up games that I enjoyed as a young child, then as I got older in my tween years I took to the more skill oriented games. I also had a thing for nostalgia even as a kid, I found that if you changed if your country you could see different versions of the barbie website that hadn't been updated yet. It was a sneaky way for me to go back in timne before I knew what the way back machine was

Cool Math Games 4 Kids

This website was a go to when we went to the computer lab when I was in elementary school. I remember playing Run a lot, it was this game within cool math games where you had to rotate the track and hop over holes while running down the track. There's probably a better way of explaining the game, but the mechanics remind me almost of Temple Run. I wonder if the people who were addicted to playing Run on cool math games went on to become addicted to Temple Run.

DressUpGirl.net

This was my go to dress up game website when I was a kid. I loved the fashion games but also the cooking games. I liked the cooking games that came with recipes so that you can make the foods in real life. There were also those weird games that were celebrity dress up games. I vividly remember dressing up Bella and Edward for their wedding.
