Games I enjoy

Minecraft

I love Minecraft. Growing up, we barely had enough money for cable and internet let alone a video game. The only times I got to play Minecraft when I was younger was when I was at a friends house. When Covid hit, I decided to use my allowance from my grandfather to buy the game on my phone. During that time I made this huge city, I was so proud of it. Unfourtunately I had troubles backing the world up with my microsoft account. So it sadly became lost to time

Tsuki Odyssey

This is a mobile game that I've been playing since it first came out. It's this cute game about Tsuki, a bunny who moves to mushroom village after his grandfather dies. Tsuki lives in his grandfathers old treehouse while tending to his carrot farm. It's a passive game with little stories thrown in. You can fish to earn extra carrots which you can then use to decorate your Tsuki's home. I like that theres no in-your-face ads, instead, in game characters that offer you carrots in exchange for ads but only if you click on them. It adds to the peacful experience that is playing Tsuki Odyssey.

Animal Crossing

Animal Crossing is one of those cozy games I got into during covid. I dont have a switch or money to buy the actual Animal Crossing so I've only played Pocket Camp, but its SO addicting! Ilove collecting items that match my aesthetic to make the perfect little camp. I used to play on my huawei tablet, but I left it back in Nova Scotia. I haven't redownloaded the app in fear of starting over again, but now I that I was passed down an iPad I'm thinking of downloading it again

Chrono Trigger

When I was little my dad was a wrestler who wrestled in this group called UCW, they'd have wrestling shows and go on tour and have guest stars from the WWF come and wrestle at their shows. On the weekends I stayed with my dad, we'd usually go to his wrestling practices. I usually brought a portable movie player amd watched star wars while my dad and the boys wrestled. One day I was pretending to wrestle this one dude (one of my dad's friends) he'd ruffle my hair with his first and I'd pretend to punch his arm, when for som reason he punched me in the face! My dad was LIVID. I ended up with a fat lip and one hell of a story to tell my friends, except none of them actually believed me that a wrestler punched me in the face. It was all worth it though because later the same dude that punched me left his GameBoy in my dads car. I found it and my dad, who was still mad at buddy, let me keep the GameBoy and the game that was inside. That game was Chrono Trigger. It has become such a well loved game for me. I remember at first not knowing how to play or what anything was, but as the years went on and I knew how to read, I came to have such an emense love for this random ass game that was dropped on my lap. I love the story, the characters, and the game design. I highly recommend it to anyone with a DS or DSi.
